Keep in mind our rule that can disqualify your entry if "Your entry contains 2D cartoon elements (in their cartoon form) as a part of the real images." It's OK to have ALL-cartoon elements, or reality mixed with realistic 3-D renderings, but if you mix a cartoon with reality, it better be fantastic or you're risking disqualification!

FACT: You’ve no doubt already seen a few releases from Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2009 men’s bag collection, but here’s a breakdown of the entire collection recently revealed by LV studio director, Paul Helber. Inspired by the “traveling wardrobe of an African king”, the collection features a few familiar models such as the Keepall and Steamer bag featuring the monogram print. While normally not the biggest LV monogrammed-flossers, the highly anticipated soccer ball-quilted Monogram Hexagone Keepall 45 Bandoulière, originally spotted during Paris Fashion Week, is still absolute tops. Although, we would love to see that in a Damier Graphite. Other notables include the non-leather, Monogram Escapade Cabas tote bag and embossed, Monogram Revelation 45 Bandoulière. If you really want to stand out alone with your $5K bag, the Louis Vuitton Personalization is a really nice touch and that’ll make it uniquely yours.

FACT: Whether you like them or not, the creation, hype and subsequent release of the Air Yeezy has been one of the greatest shoe collaborations of all time. The 3 drops were huge events held around the world and garnered as much attention as Kanye West’s recent up-staging of Taylor Swift. Yet we can easily forget that all this chatter was the result of some hard work on the part of Kanye, Mark Smith and the entire Nike design team, whose goal it was to produce a retro-futuristic hybrid sneaker, innovating at every step along the way to make this the standout sneaker of the year.

FACT: For the Fall ‘09 season, skateboard footwear company IPATH will team up with NJ Skateshop for a Fred Gall special edition colorway. The colorway of the sneaker is inspired by the NJ Transit system and includes a special “NJ” on the heel. This sneaker will be available in October at select IPATH retailers, as well as NJ Skateshop.

For the past five years, Nike had been a wonderful supporter of the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital located in Portland, Oregon by producing limited edition sneakers designed in hand with patients of the hospital. All proceeds from these sneakers then go to benefit the hospital in aid to purchase medical equipment, supplies, pay for research grants and help out families in need. This year, Nike is back with another charity project for the hospital - Air Yeezy for Doernbcher Charity Auction. In this special auction, two pairs of one-off shoes will be auctioned off on ebay with all proceeds going to the children’s hospital. From this special series is a pair of black Air Yeezy with special Air Jordan VI (6) tooling. These sleek black leather kicks accented with a black patent leather Yeezy strap come housed in a special white-laser customed shoe box with one of the first sketches done by Mark Smith, Creative Director of Jordan Brand, at the beginning of the project. FACT: I know you’ve always wanted to throw some rocks in your favorite scotch.
